My Story

I am Dan, the creator and solo owner of CableMate. I currently run CableMate as a side business while I work as an accountant in the financial services industry in New York City. CableMate began as a single idea in my Jersey City apartment back in 2023. Having so many electronic devices, I found it a hassle to look for the right cable every time I needed to recharge a low battery. I am also very organized and hated having cables I only used once in a while lying around. As someone who values organization and convenience, I came up with the idea for CableMate to solve this issue.

Here are some of the first prototypes created for CableMate.

CableMate started out as a much larger product, but after talking to potential customers, it was scaled down to something more simple and portable

After finalizing the prototypes, I ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to help fund the production of the product.

Currently, every CableMate is assembled by hand, and I personally inspect and ship each unit. Your support for the product is greatly appreciated!
